Welcome Luison & Ariel
Ariel Ramirez and Luis Felipe de Armas “Luison” are Cuban-born musicians based in Vienna. Ariel, a graduate of the Havana Conservatory and the University of Vienna, is an award-winning bassist and arranger with a global touring and recording career, including credits on Parampampin (Cubadisco 2009) and Bossa+ (WEA 2025). Luison, former frontman of the renowned Cuban band Banda Meteoro, has been a prominent voice in Vienna’s Latin music scene for over 15 years. Together, they share a long-standing musical partnership, spanning from intimate duos to large orchestral projects, and are recognized pillars of Vienna’s Latin soundscape.
