Our spacious Lofts (with full kitchens, plenty of floor space, and a rooftop to return to, make for genuinely good pet-friendly accommodation in Copenhagen, whether you’re here for a long weekend or a few months. We’ve put together our Pawlicy so you know exactly what to expect before you arrive, from cleaning fees to ground rules. Because the best stays are the ones with no surprises (for humans or dogs).

What pet-friendly life at Zoku looks like
Bringing your dog to Copenhagen? Here's what you need to know
We welcome dogs and cats in all our Lofts. To keep things comfortable for every resident (two-legged, or four) a small cleaning fee applies to every pet-friendly stay. You’ll find the full details below. One thing we’d ask: pets are welcome everywhere in your Loft and on most of the rooftp, but our Living Kitchen restaurant is a human-only zone. If your dog’s feeling social, a beloved nature reserve is a 5-minute walk from the front door.
Pets are welcome in our Zoku Loft and Zoku Loft XL.
We allow one pet per Loft, up to 20kg / 44lbs.
Please make sure your pet’s vaccinations are up to date.
Bring along proof of vaccination and keep it handy in case we need to see it.
Need to run an errand? No problem.
If your pet is left alone in the Loft, they must be secured in a cage or pet carrier.
Dogs are welcome in our Social Spaces, except the Living Kitchen restaurant.
They must always be supervised, leashed, and muzzle-ready.
Our rooftop garden is a great hangout spot, but not a pet toilet.
If there’s an accident, you’ll need to clean up after your pet.
We aim to keep Zoku calm and comfy for everyone.
Persistent barking or disruptive behaviour may mean we’ll ask you to arrange alternative care for your pet.
To keep your Loft fresh and fur-free for the next guest:
A daily pet cleaning fee of €15 / 115 DKK is added to your folio.
Long stays & deep clean
For longer stays, we add a bit more TLC:
Stays over 7 nights: €95 / 715 DKK weekly pet cleaning fee.
Monthly stays: €250 / 1875 DKK monthly pet cleaning fee.
For stays longer than a week, we’ll schedule a weekly deep clean on a fixed day and time.
During this, your pet should either be out of the Loft or comfortably in their cage/carrier.
You’re responsible for any damage caused by your pet.
Before check-out, we’ll inspect the Loft. If extra repairs or deep cleaning are needed beyond our standard process, additional charges may apply.
Please share a phone number where we can reach you at all times.
If any disruptions occur, we may call you and ask you to return to Zoku immediately.
Emotional Support Animals are welcome at Zoku.
The same rules and conditions as above apply.
Service dogs are warmly welcomed, with no extra charges for their stay.
They’re free to enjoy Zoku alongside you, hassle-free.

One of Copenhagen’s most beloved urban nature reserves, Amager Fælled, is just a 5-minute walk away from Zoku Copenhagen. It’s a great place to take your dog on walks during your stay. If you prefer water-side strolls, Islands Brygge is a 25-minute walk away: a Copenhagen favorite where locals swim, picnic, and soak up the sun just across the canal.

We don’t have breed restrictions. If you’re traveling with a larger dog, we’d recommend booking a Loft XL or Loft XXL for the extra floor space. Your dog will thank you 😉
Zoku Copenhagen is located in Ørestad, a two-minute walk from the Ørestad canal and within easy reach of Kalvebod Fælled, one of Copenhagen’s largest open green spaces. It’s excellent dog-walking territory.
