Welcome DJ Eli Roots

Eli Roots is a Vienna-based DJ who definitely feels the beat. She started playing the piano as a child and later switched to drums. As a drummer she played in different bands and her band “hirschl” got nominated for the FM4-Protestsongcontest in 2011. Her excitement for dancing to different beats never stopped which is why she became a DJ. The style of Eli Roots can be described as an eclectic mix of rhythmical explosions. She is drawn to jungle and folktronic beats and combines that with pumping afro and groovy world sounds. Downtempo is where she feels at home but her set is always a fusion of different genres.
