About the artist
In the Amsterdam jazz scene, Simone Don developed her unique sultry and edgy vocals with compelling melodies and infusions of neo soul, jazz and RnB. She sings about her adventures and personal growth, reflects upon the world and seduces you to get carried away in her lust for the good life and rich fantasy, with a bitter humorous edge of reality. Her most important influences are Erykah Badu, Hiatus Kaiyote, Masego and Amy Winehouse.
