Rooftop Refresh: Discover What’s New at Zoku Amsterdam

At Zoku, we’ve always believed that great things happen when people come together, especially in spaces designed to make it easy.

That’s why we’ve spent the past few months rethinking, reworking, and completely refreshing our rooftop in Amsterdam. The result? A space that doesn’t just look better, it works better, too.

Let’s take you on a little tour.

MEETINGS THAT DON’T FEEL LIKE MEETINGS

We’ll start where big ideas are born: our meeting and event spaces. Our 234m² rooftop Event Space is now fully flexible and designed to adapt to just about anything you throw at it: team offsites, product launches, creative workshops, you name it.

Thanks to sliding whiteboard walls and retractable partitions, the space can now easily split into two smaller rooms: our new Think Big (30 pax) and Think Bigger (65 pax) rooms, giving you more options without compromising on atmosphere.

Add in custom lighting, cozy soft furnishings, built-in AV, and a private kitchenette, and you’ve got a space that’s built to perform. And yes, it even includes direct access to a private rooftop terrace for some sunshine and amazing sunsets during the summertime. Meetings are never boring here.

WORK SMART, CELEBRATE LATER

Right next door, you’ll find our freshly updated coworking space, which has been redesigned to better suit the rhythm of the modern workday.

Picture cozy lounge corners, ergonomic high tables, 21 private lockers for coworking members, and 3 new soundproof phone booths (ideal for whether you’re deep in solo focus or have a private call to take).

You can access this space by getting a Day Pass (now with or without lunch) or with a WorkZoku monthly coworking membership, which unlocks 24/7 coworking access and tasty perks like 15% off all food and drinks.

And when the laptops close, the transformation begins. With just a few quick changes, the space becomes our new Party Pop-Up: a private evening venue perfect for casual get-togethers, birthday parties, live music, or celebratory drinks with up to 50 guests in Amsterdam.

FOOD THAT FEELS LIKE HOME

Then there’s the Living Kitchen, still very much the heart of our Social Spaces. We’ve kept the things you loved, fast, fresh food and long communal tables, but refreshed the layout for even more intimacy and flexibility.

Think new booth seating, cozy corners for two, and little window nooks that double as mini workstations during the day. Our Mediterranean-inspired menu is as veggie-forward as ever (80% vegetarian), and packed with seasonal, flavorful ingredients, including herbs from our own rooftop garden.

Whether you’re grabbing a healthy lunch, catching up over dinner, or meeting with friends during brunch on the weekend, this is your go-to.

HIDDEN ROOFTOP GEMS IN AMSTERDAM

And finally, we have our rooftop terraces, now greener, comfier, and even more inviting.

With new upcycled furniture, added plants, and thoughtful seating zones, these terraces offer the perfect escape from the city buzz without ever having to leave it. Start your day with a quiet coffee, take a breather between brainstorms, or unwind with friends at golden hour with a cocktail in hand.

The Event Space terrace is also available for private bookings, ideal for evening receptions or team wind-downs under the stars.

Throughout this renovation, we stayed true to our roots as a B Corp: sustainable design, smart solutions, and community at our core.

We reused what we could, upgraded what needed a refresh, and made every change with purpose. Because for us, good design isn’t just about aesthetics, it’s about making life better for people and the planet.
