Celebrating a Big Step Toward Better Hospitality

In 2018, Zoku Amsterdam became one of the first hotels in the world to earn B Corp certification: a bold step toward reimagining what responsible hospitality can look like. Fast forward to 2025, and we’re proud to say that all four Zoku properties are now officially B Corp certified.

From Amsterdam, Copenhagen and Vienna to our newest home in Paris, this global certification marks a significant milestone in our commitment to doing business for good.

Why B Corp Matters

B Corp certification is about more than just checking boxes. It’s about building a business that balances profit and purpose: one that considers the impact of every decision on our team, our guests, our communities and the planet. It is the foundation of what it means to be a truly sustainable hotel.

To get certified, we went through an extensive review with B Lab, the nonprofit that started the whole B Corp movement. They looked at how we’re doing across five areas: Governance, Workers, Community, Environment and Customers.

How Zoku Scored

While meeting all requirements to achieve B Corp certification, we’re proud to have outperformed global benchmarks in several key areas that are core to who we are:

🌱 Environment: 27.7 out of 45

From energy-saving design and local sourcing to cutting down on waste, we’re always looking for smarter, greener ways to run our operations.

💼 Workers: 24.5 out of 40

Our culture is all about diversity, wellbeing, growth and fair employment, making sure everyone at Zoku feels supported and included.

👥 Customers: 3.6 out of 5
