The reservations & communication intern is the central point of communication. The role is responsible for coordinating anything having to do with communication and reservations; from entering new bookings, answering the phone, managing (group) enquiries, controlling online channels, maintaining email contact with (future) guests and companies, to assisting in-house guests with any query they might have. The objective of the position is to ensure that Zoku is constantly booked with the right type of guests and companies and for the right price. The Reservations intern works closely together with and reports to the Reservations & Communication Coordinator.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Be the first and very best contact by phone, e-mail, social media communication for the hotel for both internal and external guests;
  • Assist in offering tailor-made solutions to clients’ needs;
  • Assist the Reservations and Communications Coordinator in follow up on group leads, setting up offers and coordination of corporate reservations;
  • Review and constantly looking for new ways to improve the concept and services/packages offered with a focus on increase of efficiency of service and keeping an eye on new trends emerging in the market;
  • Enter reservations in the PMS, making sure that all information is correct and up to date;
  • Liaise with the outsourced Revenue Manager and Commercial Lead on pricing for group requests;
  • Check Lofts before tours;
  • Assist the Reservations Coordinator and Commercial Lead whenever needed.

  • You are a student that is looking into gaining valuable experience as an intern, as part of your MBO+, HBO (college) or Master degree in the fields of Hospitality, Communication;
  • You are fluent in English, other languages are a plus;
  • You are an EU resident or have a valid working and living permit;
  • You are fully flexible / no fixed working days/hours;
  • You love to work, as we need you full time.
