Michael Ansa
Michael Ansa is an author and human and organizational development coach, based in San Francisco. After being introduced to Amsterdam by a former romance, he now sees it as a second home and is currently taking a part-time PhD at the VU University in between his consultancy and coaching work. He's been a member at Zoku for the past __.

What path has your career taken?
I have been a waiter, a minister/chaplain, a high school teacher and dean, and now an author/consultant.
Why Zoku?
Zoku is a retreat for me. It's a vibrant place with a very high vortex of positive possibilities; you just never know who you are going to meet! I always feel I am falling in love at Zoku with someone, something, an idea, a look, a feeling.....for a minute, or for days, or for months: I want to keep feeling that.

What advice would you give to your 20-year-old self?
"What they told you was a lie." Many have projected their fears on you - don't believe any of it. The world will love or hate you, it won't matter, but you must learn to love yourself, which will be the only answer. There is so much you are here to do and create, and you will find it - just close your eyes and jump, and follow that ancient instinct, that magical intuition, that healer in you, BEFORE anything or anyone else. Love, but be willing to walk away - no matter the cost. Don't be afraid to create, to speak out regardless, to fail and get up again. You will always manifest.
