MEET THE RESIDENT
Rachel Courtright
Rachel Courtright is the Director of Strategy for Brains, an advertising agency headquartered in Sydney. In 2016 she visited Amsterdam on an assignment, and never went home. She lived with us for her first 4 months in the city, set up the Brains EMEA office at Zoku, and has used Zoku as her office for two and a half years. You can often find her working in our Social Spaces with her team.

What path has your career taken?
My career has taken me all over the world in many different industries and roles. I started a bikini company in Abu Dhabi and a real estate agency in Dubai, and now my sister and I own and run an advertising agency with branches in Sydney and Amsterdam.

Why Zoku?
It’s a wonderful, collaborative, community full of brilliant like-minded people who challenge us to think and look at life from other perspectives. I love the mix of cultures, personalities and ideas.

Name a life-changing book you’d recommend to others.
In a volatile world that is more uncertain every day I had begun to give up hope that we would find solutions to value the world we live in today. I was given a ticket to the Singularity Summit and the optimism, the leading thinking and innovative problem solving discussed at the event was inspirational. I left with a positive attitude and a head full of bright ideas of ways I could contribute.

Each week, we profile a Zoku community member - send us an email if you'd like to be featured!
