What path has your career taken?
For the last 10 years, I have worked in B2B SaaS. I founded a company which was acquired, becoming a Product Manager at the new company. Whilst there I fell in love with Buffer’s culture, and eventually was hired by them – I spent the last 4 years working, traveling and learning a ton about products, marketing, growth, transparency etc… Last year I started a side project with 2 friends and it grew bigger than expected, so we decided to move into it full time.
Zoku is a perfect balance between co-working and living space. Starting a side project while also working full-time is not easy. At Zoku, I was able to work almost 10 hours straight without feeling it. There is always light; there is a rooftop garden where you can take a break and breathe; the food is amazing and is something I could eat every day.
Name a life-changing book you’d recommend to others.
From Zero to One by Peter Thiel (for an interesting view on startups and innovation), or Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki and Sharon Lechter (describing how you shouldn’t work for money, but money should work for you).
What advice would you give to your 20-year-old self?
Read more books, travel more and surround yourself with brilliant people. And learn how to code…
