Zoku needs Night Sidekicks that easily connect to people, provide a warm welcome and help residents from A to B instead of being a traditional formal waiter. As a Night Sidekick, you will be our residents’ go-to person, connector and problem solver during the night. You will need to love sharing advice, looking after people and building a nest for our residents and always striving to provide service in better and more creative ways. The job of a Night Sidekick is highly versatile, flexible and focused completely around Zoku’s residents and making them feel at ease while connecting them to others. It involves welcoming, checking in and out our night owls, cleaning and making sure breakfast is ready in the morning. The Night Sidekick position reports to the Duty Managers.
We will be opening our second location in Copenhagen, Denmark in December 2020. Located just five minutes from the city center by metro, Zoku Copenhagen will be situated on the vibrant Amager island, with easy access to many points of interest. It will accommodate 160 Zoku Lofts – our biggest Zoku yet!Apply here
As a Night Sidekick you are responsible for being the first point of contact to anyone walking through Zoku’s doors at night. You are the glue that holds this place together and responsible for the well-being and security of our residents, this includes also being the point of contact in case of a fire evacuation.
Below you will find a glimpse of what the main responsibilities are per hour of the night:
Start your shift with a handover together with the evening team, serve the last drinks to our residents and start locking down the building for the night.
Clean the coffee machine and make the place and terraces look ready for the morning; are the pillows in the right place, are the decorative items tidy and our toolboxes full? You are in charge!
After all check ins are completed, the End-of-Day reports are ran on our property management system. Then all the relevant daily reports are sent to the management team.
Start preparing breakfast in our Living Kitchen with baking some fresh croissants and placing all other items on the buffet.
Our chef arrives to start up breakfast. At 07.00 am it's handover time with the morning team.

A place you can call a second home, even on your first visit.
So much more than a long stay hotel. It’s a neighborhood.
Where the neighbors borrow more than a cup of sugar.
They share ideas and ambitions.
They mix the local lowdown with the global highlights.
Where the word on the street keeps you streets ahead.
For this is a ‘good company’ company where everyone can bring their dreams to the table.
Where those busy connecting the world can catch up with each other and the scene surrounding them.
Smart and uncompromising, Zoku is a hive of smart lofts and friendly spaces, designed so you can stay connected, well rested and throw yourself into your work, your play and our city.
This is a place that is furnished to fit, not to split.
Encouraging each other to live, not exist.
To dream, not sleep.
To smarten up, rather than dumb down.
To go at it together, rather than alone.
Together we can work hard, play strong and rest easy.
Whilst we blur borders, combine cultures and live our dreams.
