The Kitchen Helper is responsible for the cleanliness of the Living Kitchen, proper handling of all dirty dishes, cleanliness of the fridge, freezer and dry storages and handles incoming deliveries. The Kitchen Helper assists the Chefs with mise en place, all while working according to the HACCP regulations. The objective of the Kitchen Helper position is to support the kitchen team and making sure that the kitchen looks spotless. The Kitchen Helper reports to the Head Chef and to the Chef on shift.

We will be opening our second location in Copenhagen, Denmark in Q1 2021. Located just five minutes from the city center by metro, Zoku Copenhagen will be situated on the vibrant Amager island, with easy access to many points of interest. It will accommodate 160 Zoku Lofts – our biggest Zoku yet!

  • You are responsible for the dishwashing and for keeping your work area clean and organized
  • You ensure proper separation of waste
  • You apply HACCP regulations
  • You jump in when needed to help out the Kitchen team
  • You follow the deep cleaning schedule and ensure the Living Kitchen looks spotless at all times
  • You are responsible for handling all food & beverages deliveries from suppliers
  • Are energetic, motivated and enjoy singing occasionally while doing the dishes
  • Have a background in serving and/or helping people
  • Work clean and efficiently
  • Enjoy continuously improving processes, applying an “Always Beta” mentality
  • Are genuinely friendly, pro-active and open
  • Are eager to get the best out of themselves and their peers
  • Like to have fun while working, and are always up for a good joke
  • You speak English and or Danish (other languages are a plus)
  • You are an EU resident or have a valid Danish working permit
  • You are fully flexible/no fixed working days/hours
  • You love to work – as we need you full time
  • DKK 17.173 gross a month based on full time (37 hours)
