Our worldly Living Kitchen is just that: simple and honest. Our healthy food is served fast on long communal tables – ideal for salt passing and idea swapping. As Head Chef, we’ll need you to embody these values.

The Head Chef’s main responsibility is to successfully operate and oversee Zoku’s Living Kitchen in Paris and ensure it is in line with Zoku’s food philosophy. You’ll be responsible for any food that comes out of the Living Kitchen, from conception to execution and presentation of the food. Our property features one restaurant, a rooftop bar with a terrace, three meeting rooms and one event space, all of which the Living Kitchen will serve. You’ll manage and work closely with the other chefs, develop menu offerings, item pricing, forecast supply needs, and estimate costs. You are also expected to ensure that the Living Kitchen meets all local regulations, including HACCP and safety guidelines.   

The lively Living Kitchen is located on the rooftop of Zoku Paris at Porte de Clichy. This means that you’ll be overlooking the iconic Tribunal de Paris and the buzzing streets of Paris while you work.

You'll encounter an international mix of residents and locals. As you'll be cooking in an open kitchen, you'll get to know and chat with our guests regularly.

A few must haves…

  • You have at least 2 years of experience in a Chef de Partie, Sous Chef or similar position.  
  • You are fluent in French or English – any other languages are a plus!
  • You are an EU resident or have a valid working and living permit for France.  
  • You are fully flexible, which means no fixed working days/hours.  
  • You love to work, as we’ll need you full -time.  
  • You have provable knowledge of various cooking techniques – home-style cooking and vegan cooking are a plus!  
  • You have experience with implementing the local HACCP guidelines.
