As a Duty Manager you act as a spider in the web, ensuring Zoku’s operations are run smoothly. You coach, train and set up our team of Sidekicks (the operational team) up for success.
The role of a Duty Manager is very versatile and highly paced. You support our operational team when and where needed, empowering them to be at their best and to provide a true Zoku-like experience while keeping excellent service standards and facilities on par.
You will report to our General Manager and work amongst a team of enthusiastic, highly motivated Duty Managers where each individual has their own specialty. No day looks the same as a Duty Manager, but here is a glimpse of what you can expect:
You are very hands-on and actively support the Sidekicks on the floor to ensure every Resident receives a true Zoku-like experience. You jump in when and where needed and are the contact person for larger Resident requests.
You coach, guide and train the operational team. You ensure Zoku’s values are lived by on the work floor, while always having fun and ensuring excellent service. You also create, update, and communicate the working schedules of the team alongside your fellow Duties.
In case of issues arising during your shift, you will act as the main trouble-shooter and mediate tasks when no one else is available. You are also the end person responsible for properly handling safety and security procedures.
As part of the Duty Managers team, you are responsible for all Rooms Division and F&B matters. You are the main contact person with our outsourced housekeeping party, you enjoy structuring all rooms related procedures, managing restaurants reservations and check the payment handling.
