We’re excited to have chef Amir Carmel with us this Friday cooking his exciting food and sharing Mediterranean flavours!

A little bit about him and his food: Amir grew up in Israel where he was inspired by local cuisine with fine dining influences. He moved to Amsterdam 2 years ago and since then he has worked for Chef Ron Blaauw at his Michelin Star restaurant Ron GastroBar as well as the cool, experimental restaurant BAK. He currently is studying psychology and still is as passionate as ever about cooking and feels that this evening at Zoku will be an amazing opportunity to showcase some of his favourite dishes as well as some of his new dishes in an awesome new environment.

The menu will consist of locally sourced ingredients with a strong Mediterranean influence.There will be dishes including seabass and labneh, skrei and lentils, lamb with raspberry, and more tasty delights (note, instead of meat & fish we will also have vegan options available). Sounds yummy right?
